Painting the South with words One Story at a Time.
Return to zany Jaemore County and delve further into the shenanigans of best friends Sabine and Mia as they bicker and make mayhem in the second installment of the Dixie Days Mysteries with When Bees Buzz.
Transplanted Texan Sabine has settled down into a new phase of her life with her constant companion, Dingo, her Australian Shepherd. Her new relationship with a Sheriff's investigator is a dream come true. While living in rural Jaemore County, Georgia writing for the "Everything Southern" Dixie Days magazine, Sabine is able to make new friends and explore her new home. But when Sabine is researching a story, a newly found skeleton dug up by a hyperactive dachshund upset the peach cart. With her best friend, Mia, they squabble head first in an old homicide and the upper echelon of Atlanta society. Will they solve the crime without being murdered themselves? Most important, though, will Sabine ever get those cheese sticks that only make an appearance at Southern funerals?

I'm a Texas girl through and through but now call Georgia home. I’ve been married to the best guy in the world--Dave for almost 20 years. Together we share two human kids and one canine kid. Surprisingly, the dog is better behaved than the kids. Darby is an evil Australian Shepherd bent on taking over the world.
Pick a job title and pretty much my name will appear, I'm a writer, chauffeur, maid and short order cook in the Deep South. My paying job is a Media Para-pro at a middle school (pray hard for me). In my past life, I graduated from North Georgia College. Armed with my degree, I plunged into the world of being a social worker, child protective service investigator, grant writer and legal advocate.
I am a contributing writer to the Walton Living Magazine, snarky Facebook posts, websites, newspapers and anthologies.
